For Freedoms

Download a pdf of all of the For Freedoms Local Events here.

ArtUp is a partner in the National For Freedoms project in Memphis. We are thrilled to announce the local programs happening around town during October and November.

This year, For Freedoms has launched the largest creative collaboration in our nation's history, the
50 State Initiative. From September to November of 2018, concurrent decentralized public events across the country will reflect a multiplicity of voices and spark a national dialogue about art, education, commerce, and politics.

Several of our ArtUp Fellows and supporters are participating. We hope to see you at these events hosted by Memphis College of Art, Christian Brothers University, University of Memphis, Brooks Museum, Young Arts Patrons, Rhodes College, and ArtUp.
